Course description
First semester of one-year introductory series. Provides broad coverage of chemistry principles with inorganic and organic systems applications. Credit will not be allowed for more than one of CHEM 1020, 1050 and 1000. Laboratory: 3 hours per week. Prerequisite: ACT math score of 23 or above, or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1400, 1405 or 1450.
Section information
Students must enroll in a laboratory (Sections 11A - 11H) and discussion (Sections 21A - 21H). Wednesdays 5-7 pm are reserved for exams. Labs begin September 4. Students who have not attended lab on September 4 may be administratively dropped from the course. Prerequisites required: ACT Math score of 23 or successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1400, 1405, or 1450. Students not meeting prerequisites will be dropped. ....................
