Course description
Examines the basic properties of neurons and from there identifies determinants of brain development and how neuronal circuits are formed. How neuronal circuits underlie processing sensory information, coordinated movement, complex functions (e.g. sleep, learning) and homeostasis are discussed. Cross listed with NEUR 5280; dual listed with ZOO 4280. Prerequisite: ZOO 3115 or equivalent.
