Course description
Students will be introduce Reading, Writing and Research activities, divided into four sections that promote a successful transition of student veterans & service members (SVSM) to the college classroom. These activities are designed not only to develop academic, transition and community building skills but expose and explore the hidden curriculum and culture that every SVSM encounters in higher education. Communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills will be developed as core competencies designed to prepare students for undergraduate/graduate college success.
