Course description
This course provides a comprehensive study of the principles and practices of dance instruction in various forms and contexts. Emphasis is placed on pedagogical theories, lesson and curriculum design, developing learning environments, and developmentally appropriate instruction. This course includes peer teaching with feedback. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing in the department of Theatre and Dance; successful completion of THDN 3420 OR THDN 3440 OR THDN 3480
