Course description
Addresses performance skills required in acting for the camera. Covers various techniques, styles, and skills necessary to be successful in the professional world of film and television as an actor. Students perform scenes for 3-camera and single camera set-ups, and become familiar with rudimentary technical skills as crewmembers for shoots. Lecture and test material cover career opportunities, union affiliations, and current trends in the film and television industry. PREREQUISITES THDN 3100 Intermediate Acting or THEA 3710
