Course description

STEP 3102 is designed to support Adult Learners (typically 24+), transfer, distance, and other “non-traditional” students (i.e. full time employees/part time students seeking a degree, students with children, students returning to college after a significant gap in enrollment, etc.). This course will provide skills which equip you to interact with UW campus resources, staff, and faculty; to learn about academic support and wellness; to explore academic and co-curricular opportunities while considering busy lives; to explore career pathways and how to connect college to career; and to encourage personal reflection of how current college experiences will affect your future decision making and career success.
