Course description
Computational methods for Statistics will be discussed for topics that include numerical linear algebra, optimization, bootstrapping, numerical integration, monte carlo simulation, markov chain monte carlo simulation, and predictive data mining. Prerequisite: B or better in STAT 5265 and B or better in one of the following: STAT 5015, STAT 5025, STAT 5045
