Course description
Applied methods for analyzing associations when some or all variables are measured in discrete categories, not continuous scales. Topics include the binomial, multinomial, and Poisson probability models, parameter estimation and hypothesis-testing about proportions, measures of association and tests for contingency tables, logistic regression, and long-linear models. Dual listed with STAT 5045. Prerequisites: STAT 2050 or equivalent.
