Course description
Discover how plants shape cuisine, culture, and commerce through herbs, spices, and spirits. This online course blends plant science with history, exploring flavor chemistry, agricultural practices, organic production, post-harvest operations, and global trade. Graduate students extend learning through advanced, research-driven projects.. Cross listed with PLNT 4190. Prerequisites: 8 hrs. LIFE and/or CHEM.
