Course description
Introduces students to why and how transgenic crops are developed, including the role of transgenic crops in plant breeding and in agriculture. Students will learn how transgenic plants are handled in a breeding program, and the laws and regulations that govern their use. Prerequisite: LIFE 2023 or equivalent Dual-listed: PLNT 5050
