Course description
Four-week rotation in hospital pharmacy. Applying classroom knowledge, students participate in patient care activities including basic patient and drug therapy assessment, patient monitoring, and medication preparation/distribution. Students explore pharmacists’ role in acute settings via interdisciplinary collaboration, while upholding legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the Doctor of Pharmacy professional program.
