Course description

General introduction to petroleum engineering, including petroleum geology, exploration, reservoir rocks, and fluid flow through porous media, drilling fundamentals, completion technology, well logging and testing, methods of production, stimulation methods, enhanced oil recovery, reserves and economics. Prerequisites: grade of C or better in both MATH 2200.
