Course description
Introduces students to the foundations, array of services, and management issues associated with recreation and tourism. Primary focal points for this course include: a) historical and psychological underpinnings, b) market trends, c) resources and services and how they are managed, d) cultural, economic, political, and legal considerations, and e) career and professional opportunities. Emphasizes the relationship of these industries to resource stewardship.
