Course description
the advanced study of neurobiology and psychopharmacology in the treatment of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. In depth exploration of how the advanced practice psychiatric nurse can utilize phamacodynamics and pharmacogenetics to inform the clinical decision making in the treatment complex mental illnesses and addiction. Prerequisites: NURS 5140 AND 5165.
