Course description

Introduces the student to population-focused nursing and applies the nursing process to the community as client. Addresses core functions and essential services of public health. Focuses on vulnerable populations; epidemiology; community assessment, and analysis of the healthcare system. Prerequisites: NURS 3895 and completion or concurrent enrollment with NURS 4691, NURS 4693, & NURS 4695  OR NURS 4665 and completion or concurrent enrollment with NURS 4735, 4691, & 4771
