Course description
Students will develop knowledge and skills to utilize and evaluate information technologies to improve patient outcomes across diverse populations. Includes the use of Clinical Information Systems to plan and document the nursing process. Ethical and legal considerations of data management and interdisciplinary use of healthcare informatics are presented. Prerequisite: NRBK (student attribute) and NURS 4055 , NURS 4630 , and NURS 4830 ; OR NURBK (student attribute) and NURS 3890 with a C or better. Restricted to one of the following majors: PNRN, PNBS, NURN, NUBS, NUBR, NURS
