Course description
Learners will examine population-focused concepts to assess vulnerable and oppressed populations. The magnitude of health disparities both in the United States and globally will be discussed. Focuses on a multi-level and multi-cultural view of population health challenges, alleviating health disparities, and a commitment to health equity. Prerequisites: NRBK (student attribute) and NURS 4055, 4630, 4830 with a C or better. Restricted to one of the following majors: PNRN, PNBS, NURSN or NUBS
