Course description
Students will learn and apply concepts of health promotion across the lifespan. Emphasis is on cultural diversity, health risks, behavior change and healthy practices for individuals, families, and populations. Students will incorporate evidence in designing interventions to promote health and prevent illness for self and clients. Prerequisite: NURS 3445, PHCY 4470, and completion or concurrent enrollment in NURS 3690, NURS 3695, and NURS 4125.
