Course description
Advanced hematology principles and techniques prepare students for practice in the clinical laboratory. This course will focus on advanced topics of hematology, focusing on normal and abnormal erythrocytes in relation to assessment, and disease correlation. Prerequisite: Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) certification or completion of an AS degree in MLT within the past 5 years.
