Course description
This course is designed to introduce students to advanced topics in clinical chemistry in relation to instrumentation, diagnostic testing and its correlation to disease states, and method correlation and validation. Students will demonstrate the ability to describe principles and applications required for the entry level laboratory scientist. Prerequisite: Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) certification or completion of an AS degree in MLT within the past 5 years.
