Course description
Focuses on concepts and methods used to plan and manage logistics activities in today’s business environment. Emphasizes components and trade-offs required when managing flows to final customer and back again. Core topics include: logistics strategy, transportation, forecasting, inventory, warehousing, e-fulfillment, distribution network design, customer service, sustainability and logistics information systems. Prerequisites: DSCI 2100 and junior class standing.
