Course description

A model of a real world problem captures the essential features of the problem, while scaling it down to a manageable size. In this course, symbolic tools and mathematical techniques are used to construct, analyze and interpret various mathematical models which arise from problems in the physical, biological and social sciences. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MATH 2250 or 2310.
