Course description
Studies psychological theories/factors associated with participation and performance in sport, exercise, and physical activity contexts. Designed to introduce the field of sport and exercise psychology in areas including motivation and behavior change, physical activity and mental health, stress and coping, psychological skills training, and group dynamics, communication, and leadership. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in PSYC 1000; concurrent enrollment in or completion of KIN 3021; 2.750 GPA.
