Course description
Maps ways our dominant national and global food systems affect health and equity in health, largely though not only negatively. Students will critically assess practiced and potential strategies for creating alternative food systems that support health and equity, particularly at the U.S. community level. Dual listed with HLED 5020. Prerequisite: Completion of COM 2, HLED 3020 (Can be concurrent), and 2.75 GPA
