Course description

The internship allows students to gain hands-on experience that will help to bridge the gap between history as an academic discipline and history as practiced in museums, public history agencies and historic sites. Specific arrangements must be made in advance to identify the academic component of the internship and the grading criteria. Such planning will be done in consultation with the department's internship director. Prerequisites: 9 hours of HIST.
