Course description
Film plays a vital role in sharing history and culture. India, the world’s largest democracy, also leads in film production, creating movies in over twenty languages. Bollywood, based in Mumbai, produces over 1,000 films annually. This course explores Bollywood’s evolution and India’s history through influential, critically acclaimed films. Prerequisites: Prerequisites: 9 hours of HIST.
