Course description
An introduction to the basics of spatial data science. We introduce foundational GIS concepts, integration of multiple software packages (e.g. relational databases, Program R, Python, and ArcPro), proven database designs, and scripting, leading to increased efficiency during data analyses. These information science principles are demonstrated using project-based examples. Graduate level course, undergraduate students permitted to take course with permission from instructor.
