Course description
This course considers societal structures and processes as they interact with hazards in the natural environment. Examines the natural and human dimensions of hazards, focusing on the environmental settings, risk assessment, and steps taken in mitigation, adaptation, and protection, to reduce the impacts of hazards and disasters locally and globally. Prerequisites: Completion of any PN course; Junior standing
