Course description

In this course, students will learn to take a rigorous analytical approach when making decisions about the management of capital in a business.  The class will apply time value of money techniques and basic concepts from probability theory to evaluate projects and value corporate assets and liabilities. Prerequisites: ACCT 2020; ECON 1010 and ECON 1020; FIN 2100; IMGT 2400; MATH 2200 or 2350*; MATH 2205 or MATH 2355*; STAT 2050 or 2070; Communication 2 (C2);  *MATH 2200 and MATH 2205 are recommended.
