Course description
This course will integrate material from basic nutrition, biology and physiology and apply concepts to the overall nutritional needs of adult and elderly populations. Discusses dietary patterns and practices and the importance of healthy lifestyles during these periods for disease prevention and treatment. Prerequisites: FCSC 1141 and LIFE 1010.
