Course description

Introduction to the history and theory of the public humanities, humanities scholarship, and civic life. Students will develop theoretical and practical knowledge and explore alternative applications for academic research for publics beyond the classroom. Assignments will utilize various modalities of public humanities work. Prerequisite: graduate status or 12 hours of 4000-level work.
