Course description
Students will display an educator identity; develop skills in creating student-centered and culturally relevant/sustaining learning environments; apply ethical principles in service-learning activities; and collaborate in planning, implementing and reflecting on activities for learners. Students engage in classwork and at least 30 clock hours of practicum in educational settings. Prerequisites: EDST 1200 or equivalent and Sophomore standing. Background check on file in the College of Education Student Success Center.
