Course description
Includes content and pedagogy in teaching science in the elementary school. Addresses the following topics: 1) Current national and state science standards; 2) science education pedagogical models; 3) curriculum; and 4) theory translated into instructional planning and practice. Prerequisites: Students must have completed at least one of the three required science content courses with a grade of C or better.
