Course description

This course provides an introduction to foundational concepts related to elementary literacy instruction and assessment, including but not limited to oral language, phonological awareness, phonics/word study, fluency, vocabulary development, comprehension, and writing. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010 and declared major in Elementary Education (ELEM) or Elementary Education/Special Education (ELSP).
