Course description

This course addresses principles and practices of evidence-based literacy intervention for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Topics include stages of literacy development, challenges students may encounter in literacy development, effective interventions across components of literacy, and considerations in designing comprehensive intervention programs. Prerequisites: Completion of EDCI 5410, EDCI 5415, and EDCI 5420 with a grade of C or better
