Course description
This course focuses on an introduction to basic news writing, reporting, editing, interviewing, PR and advertising. Strong writing, deadlines, accuracy, news judgment, ethical practices and sensitivity of our pluralistic society are expected. This course provides skills necessary for various media careers including media writing, PR, marketing and magazine writing. Prerequisite: WA or COM1
