Course description
Provides students with an overview of the field of play therapy. The historical roots of play therapy and the importance of play in child development will be explored. Various play therapy theories and techniques for assessment and intervention and professional issues will be surveyed. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing or Consent of Instructor.
