Course description

Fundamentals of Digital and Color photography. Students will learn how to use their digital cameras, how to input images to Photoshop and out put them to prints. The class will begin with an investigation of techniques before moving through a series of assignments designed to develop the understanding of how to compose a body of work around a specific theme or concept. Lectures will work through the concepts and history of color photography and regular critiques will guide students towards creating a final portfolio of images. Prerequisites: ART 1110 and ART 1130.
