Course description

Introduces the application of computer programming for the collection, management, and analysis of archaeological data. Introduction to basic concepts in computer science and expands covering the general functionality, syntax, and structure of R – a popular statistical and spatial programming language used in archaeology. Dual listed with ANTH 5155. Prerequisites: ANTH 1300 or consent of instructor.
