Course description
Wyoming's archaeological record spans 13,000 years, from stone tools left by Ice Age mammoth hunters to the wooden dwellings of native Shoshone Indians to the nation's first trans-continental railroad. Using the tools of archaeology, we cover the chronology, modes of subsistence, and material remains left by human cultures in Wyoming.
