Course description
This course explores gender through a cultural and structural approach. The cultural approach emphasizes the variability in social expectations for men and women across time and place; the structural approach analyzes the effect of social institutions such as family, government, education, and the economy of gender. Prerequisite: SOC 1000 Cross-Listed: SOC 3500
