Course description
An introductory course on why economics matters. We examine why countries like the US are rich, while others are poor. We explore economic booms & busts, and policies to avoid them. We address GDP growth, unemployment and inflation, government debt, deficits, tax policy, and whether robots will take our jobs. Cross listed with ECON 1010.
