Course description

An in-depth study of the financial statement audit and the professional responsibilities of public accountants. The role of professional judgment and skepticism is emphasized in case studies and research involving current auditing issues, including financial statement fraud. Prerequisite: Admission to the MS in Accounting Program or MBA with Advanced Accounting Concentration Program or department approval.
